the ultimate april fools prank!

ok so it started out when we were in english. we saw my teacher named mr. duque walk down the hallway towards the exit. i thought he was just leaving because he was sick or something. then after french(which was after english), we saw the assistant head of school, school counselor, and a first grade teacher named mrs. weidman standing in our classroom and we were wondering why they were there. the assistant head of school said that mr. duque had to leave for personal reasons that was very urgent. then they said that mrs. weidman would be our new substitute and they didn’t know when or if mr. duque would be coming back. the school counselor said that if anyone was stressed about mr. duque leaving, they could come talk to her. everyone was worried. we wanted to know why he left. then after the counselor and assistant head of school left, we asked mrs. weidman why mr. duque left. she told us that mr. duque fell on a kid when he was just joking and not taking anything seriously and the kid told his parents about it and mr. duque had to leave. we all believed it. after science when we were packing up to go home, mr. duque walked in holding a whiteboard with the words “suspended teacher says april fools”. and that, my friends, it the story of the ultimate april fools prank. (and probably my longest post)
